In the heart of Puno, Peru, is our home and refuge for alpacas.

Here, in the Puna region, these amazing creatures adapt gracefully to unique and challenging conditions: they face cold and extreme temperatures, as well as the decreased oxygen pressure inherent to altitude.

Endowed with exceptional physical and physiological characteristics, alpacas cope with the rigors of the Puna. Their dense, warm fur provides them with a natural insulator against inclement weather, while their cardiovascular and respiratory systems have been shaped to thrive in high altitudes and environments with lower oxygen availability.

The Puna is rich in natural grasslands and vegetation, providing a vital source of food for the alpacas. These pastures, as rich in nutrients as the history of this region itself, provide the essential nutrition that ensures the continued growth and well-being of our alpacas.

This is how, in this unique corner of the world, our alpacas not only subsist, but thrive, weaving their history into the very fiber that we harvest with respect and admiration
